Scalzo Hospitality is a third-generation, family-owned hotel management company built on the entrepreneurial spirit of our founder, Carmen Scalzo—a first-generation Italian American who believed in the American Dream.
In the 1950s, Carmen launched his hospitality business with vision and grit—building three hotels in Sacramento and three more along Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim, California— just as Walt Disney opened the gates to Disneyland. His instinct for location and guest service laid the foundation for a family legacy that we honor to this day.
Today, we blend Carmen’s hands-on approach and strong core values with proven, data-driven processes based on EOS Traction, ensuring we operate with clarity, consistency, accountability, and ownership—and deliver Remarkable Hospitality to guests and partners alike.
